Primed fingerjoined radiata pine. A staple now, but it wasn’t when we started importing it from Chile over two decades ago.

We’ve learned a lot since then, which is why customers agree our primed pine is some of the best-looking, most consistent available.

Radiata’s superior durability and relative absence of defects and resin bleed make it a superior choice for fingerjoined primed trim.

Vast plantations of radiata pine in New Zealand and Chile grow fast and straight, producing clear fiber from young trees.

Our ArmorCoat III, the third generation since inception, has two full-thickness latex prime coats, both coats buffed for smoothness and sheen. And it is always dressed in a moulder following the fingerjoint process, so the surface is perfectly smooth.

Since 2019 we also offer a cost-saving interior-use line.

ArmorCoat Interior has a first coat of gesso primer, which allows for some imperfections in fiber, with a second full-thickness buffed coat of latex primer.
